BIGO LIVE family, on Sunday got together on their live streaming platform with a common cover pic & a gratitude message that said #WeAreThankful . All the content creators & broadcasters, who are official broadcasters of BIGO LIVE went online by live streaming sharp at 5pm as the event began, and paid their gratitude and at the same time motivated their followers to do the same and urged them to come together as a society and support each other. All these broadcasters on their live streams, stood up and cheered for the medical, aviation & police forces & all those real life hero’s who have been working, round the clock so that the general audience can stay safe and healthy.
Over hundreds of Bigo Live broadcasters continued streaming for the duration of one hour, who are having fans over millions . It was an iconic event for the entire Singapore based BIGO family to see how such small effort on everyone’s part can make up such a huge difference and thereby reaching out to over millions of people through their gesture. This platform not only gave an opportunity to showcase they are thankful for what the government has decided, but also supports the lower income groups who are sacrificing their livelihoods for the safety of others and it’s because of ‘Bigo Live’ that people can make that choice and difference.
At a recent panel discussion at IAMAI’s Pixels 2020 held at Hyatt Mumbai, prominent brands from Technology, advertising and media were invited as speakers!
Apart from other dignitaries, Nagesh Banga, Dy. country head, Bigo Live, was also invited as a speaker to share his expertise on ‘How User generated content is changing the dynamics’
While Mr Banga emphasized on the fact that UGC puts customers Front and Center. Customer-oriented businesses are on the rise, because brands have to constantly serve their users. Indian content creators were also awarded in the “Top Regional Family Category”. Winners included. Kapil Soni,who was who was crowned the undisputed Champion in ‘Top Regional Family’,followed by Abhinav from ‘Respect Girls Family’ and then Sameer, an IT Engineer with over 3 million fans,who was awarded as the second runner up in the same category. Whereas from hosts, Aariyah was awarded as the champion in ‘ Top Regional host’ followed by Nishu Tomar and second runner up being ‘Dimple D’souza, a popular broadcaster, youtuber, fashion stylist and entertainer, with over 4 million followers, shared the stage
Nikita Tiwari, an Indian TV actress currently working in Color’s ‘Ram Siya ke Luv Kush’. They were both awarded “Top Regional Broadcaster”. Nikita also performed a lively Indian dance to entertain an audience of a thousand.
