ARAnmol Rodriguez is Fashion educator & a Motivational speaker who conducts knowledge based sessions on Bigo Live and is based out of Mumbai. She is a fashion enthusiast and loves to experiment with clothes and makeup, creating her own unique style.

Meet Satnam Singh, a Zomato Delivery guy who has become a social media star on Bigo Live

A common man’s story but with big dreams in his eyes, hailing from a pious city Amritsar in Punjab, he always had a belief in himself that there is something in him that differentiates him from the rest. “Bus yahi sochta tha ki aisa kya hai mere andar, jo dusro me nahi aur fir silsila shuru meri acting line ka”

But dreams are not for free !! They are also chargeable. He Says “I wanted to get into acting but that also required money . That’s when I joined theatre, but to sustain myself I also started doing a meagre job in travel agency where I used to get Rs 2500 monthly. Gradually I shifted my base to Mumbai kept on auditioning and working for 3 years with this hope, that atleast now I will get some better work. Bt my inome from job was not enough for my survival in a city like Mumbai. I have seen days where I used to stay in Mumbai ki Chawl, as I had to support my family too.

Satnam Singh says, “Fir ek aisa bhi time aya jab maine apne life ke 3months ek chhatt per nikale kyuki paisa nahi tha rent dene ke liye, January ka month aur na sir per koi chhat ..That was a very tough time for me but acting nahi choddi… Because of my faith in God & myself… I sold off my Kada and took a loan from my friend to buy bike so that I can be a delivery boy . I first worked in UberEat as a delivery boy then later joined Zomato. With my persistent hard work and by grace of god, I cleared my audition and did a film with Mr Rajpal Yadav and did various shortfilms and also worked with Amit Badhana sir and also did work for various youtube channels. Then somebody offered me to work as a broadcaster in Bigo Live and I joined it. Gradually I started entertaining people and made a lot of followers. I wanted to enter in Entertainment industry and found an entire entertainment community here in Bigo Live that provides you both fame and money.”

Satnam Singh play’s a character here on Bigo Live by the name of ‘Ghantu Baba’, & trie to give Bigo users tips, motivates them on how to keep your head high during stuggling days and also dances very well & loves to enact for his fans. He says “I still continue my job as a delivery guy in Zomato because that job really changed my fortune. Thanks to Bigo Live because of which I am able to earn money and run my home during this tough times of Covid-19 lockdown”

The very famous, Deepshikha Nagpal who is an Indian actress and Film director. She received acclaim in the Hindi film industry only after the release of Koyla. She was also seen in the Bollywood movie ‘Dhoom Dhadaka’ with Satish Kaushik. She has also acted in Tamil films and done a no. of TV soaps. In 2011, her debut film as a director, ‘Yeh Dooriyan’, was released .She was also seen in Bigg Boss 8 in 2014 and has now joined Bigo Live as an official host. She was also the winner of ‘Mrs India 2013.Her name is also in Limca book of world record.

Bigo Live participates in IAMAI’s ‘Pixel’ to speak on ‘Evolution of Digital Entertainment industry’

At a recent panel discussion at IAMAI’s Pixels 2020 held at Hyatt Mumbai, prominent brands from Technology, advertising and media were invited as speakers!

Apart from other dignitaries, Nagesh Banga, Dy. country head, Bigo Live, was also invited as a speaker to share his expertise on ‘How User generated content is changing the dynamics’

While Mr Banga emphasized on the fact that UGC puts customers Front and Center. Customer-oriented businesses are on the rise, because brands have to constantly serve their users. Also, in this fast-paced, digitally-run world, attention-spans can be snapped away with the click of a fingers. If brands aren’t catering solely to their customers, their customers will simply find another brand & make a shift.

Apart form this, other key-takeaways were, it is important to give viewers, binge-watching opportunities to make them loyal set of consumers. Here, digital media brands play a pivotal role, as masses want something different from what they see on television and Digital space is their ‘go to solution’!
